REPORTS TO: Manager Manager of Drafting and Design
Summary
The intermediate designer prepares detailed technical drawings and plans used by natural gas production and processing companies to build complex surface facilities, as well as oil and gas pipelines. This position also provides ongoing control of new and archived drawings, and assists in upgrading continually changing standard drafting procedures.
Responsibilities
Create complete drawing packages for clients through all phases of construction.
Participate in strategic planning sessions with Engineers and Senior Drafters/Designers.
Work directly with Engineers to ensure client job specifics are met.
Communicate with Senior Drafter/Designers to make sure all construction details are documented correctly.
Report job status to Drafting Manager.
Ensure that deadlines for drawings in each phase of construction are met.
Organization of drawings as per specified job number.
Provide information/support to Jr. Drafter/Designers.
